Rebecca grew up in San Diego, California. She moved in 2015 to Spokane to explore the pacific northwest.
Rebecca comes from a tight-rooted Mexican family, who instilled the passion of serving others and the importance of living authentically through Christ. The love of community and serving others landed her a spot in ministry staff at a local church in Spokane Valley. She served in the photo and video team, where she combined her passion for photography and helping others understand the love of Jesus.
Rebecca and her husband Jamal searched for other opportunities to serve and quickly became ministry leaders at Spokane Youth For Christ. She was fueled by the mission of raising lifelong followers of Jesus with high-risk youth that desire to be seen and loved on. Today, Rebecca is led by the Lord to accept the position of Director of Women's Ministry. She is ecstatic at the opportunity to share God's immense love to empower girls who can empower their community.
In her spare time, Rebecca loves to camp, take pictures, and host friends and family alongside her amazing husband, Jamal.
