Jon grew up in Colorado with a loving family, his parents and two older sisters, who taught him not only about the love of Christ, but also what it means to live with grace and compassion for others. He moved to Spokane in 2010 to attend Whitworth University. After graduating in 2014, he married his wife, Emily, and he joined in the mission of YFC. They moved into the West Central neighborhood that same year.
Jon loves listening to the stories of hurting people and learning how to stand in solidarity with them. He longs to see the Kingdom of God advance in the hardest places. Working in West Central, Jon works to create opportunities where the young people of the neighborhood can enter into relationship with passionate volunteer leaders and experience the transforming love of Christ.
Jon loves being married to his beautiful wife, spending time with his adorable daughter, reading good books, playing soccer, and being outside. He also loves and is deeply grateful for the community of faithful friends he is a part of in Spokane.
